BadgerLink: Authenticated Links

Best Practices: Using BadgerLink Authenticated Links

“We ask that anyone providing access to our resources this way provide credit to BadgerLink.
Libraries are welcome to use whatever wording works best for their site, or display the BadgerLink logo.
Visit our  Get the Word Out pages for BadgerLink logos, additional resources, and information.”

David McHugh
BadgerLink Coordinator

State of Wisconsin

The logo changed recently, and some sites are still using the old one, so some libraries may need to update the BadgerLink logo.

It is important that these PROPERLY AUTHENTICATED LINKS are used when posting specific BadgerLink funded resources
to library websites and other online venues.

WHY? Because these links ensure access via IP address (automatically) or via the library card login.

Example:

Access NewspaperARCHIVE (Provided by <http://www.badgerlink.net/> BadgerLink)
